9.9 school in the news

Things in Japan have lurched suddenly from the awful to the surreal. The BBC is now reporting from Yamagata, with regular updates and interviews with two old friends of mine, from a private English school I used to do some evening work at.



I spent most of today watching it all on TV. The media are running with all kinds of stories. This is all getting of hand.
